1. 2. Very nice. I'm for the variant featuring 2 targets, with the only suggestion: make one of the rocks (behind the targets) different from another one. Heroes 2 objects don't contain cloned rocks. There is also an optional fix available: try to make the tent lines a little more contrasting with each other. But that may not be needed, we will need to place the dwelling on a classic H2 map first. The shadow is not required, it will be generated automatically by the DEF file editor. -- P.S. Ah, one more thing. It would be nice if you removed green grass and placed something more generic, like the brown-ish road. The dwellings we design must be as universal as possible in terms of native terrain. ________________________

Yes, feathers, wings, size etc, but not much of a bone geometry. And returning to my point, harpy is mainly human with about 30% of a bird, so it make sense for me that she would be more upright than the other winged creatures
BTW If you look at MY project, not edited by others she in fact is a LITTLE tilted hahaha you got a point with the T-rex, but Maybe he is titled because of the tail? Gravity is gravity, if weight is on the back: tilt or fall! - Ragoon wrote:

Not sure... but I would say right side is sun, left side is shadow.. ________________________ ~Lands of Enroth~

Yes, you are absolutely right. I just mixed the sides, first time in my practice. Of course, the sun is on the right. ________________________

| You should give Ragoon a badge or something. He is one of the most valuable members of the volunteer community! Besides the main team, I don't know if anyone has made so much cool stuff for this mod than him. Keep him near Don't go anywhere dude! EDIT: forgot to say. If you are up for a challenge try to make an animated dwelling/structure. That's something I love about H2 and it's really rare. | |

Outstanding work! It's usable for the game even now, although I would suggest trying to add a little more contrast to it. Just compare with the Nomad Tent on Uhm's screenshot. - Quote :
Yeah, that seem to be perfect now. The only thing left is to implement it in the game and check how it looks. - Quote :

Challenge is the least we care for. We don't have time for that. ________________________

| Agreed. Brown may suit better here, probably as well as somewhat darkened shadows on the tent body.
Uhm, do you have any problems with the castles? Are the terrain-specific defs working properly (both in terms of colored flags and castle backgrounds)? I haven't updated my OS yet so I still sit on WinXP and can't track the Dropbox updates. ________________________

| No, I was unsuccessful with implementing it in-game But I am sure that all towns and villages defs should work properly. I will check it, if you will specify where should I place all needed files ________________________ Well, Roland, it seems I've won our little contest. But don't worry. | Alright, thanks for the info. No, it seems that I will have to re-check everything myself carefully. For now we should focus on graphics and H3 maps conversion if there is an inspiration for any of these points. Starting from 27th of December, I'm gonna enter my own graphics marathon. ________________________ | |

| Great job. Not only does the pyramid look better, it also looks more different from the "creature bank" pyramid now because of the change in perspective | |

| Unfortunately, I don't have much time because of IRL issues right now, so Harpy and some other assets will come later on after 26th. DEF file put in Dropbox. Ragoon asked for notes, I'll try to elaborate in short words before going to sleep. Axolotl on DF2 forums tried to bring the texture looking more like the original. The entrance is very nice. - To add more volume, you must have re-done the lighting. The right (sunny) edge is made in a brighter tone, but not so contrasting with the rest of the pyramid body. - Very contrasting outline usually doesn't help. I tried to lighten it a little, including the entrance so it won't draw so much attention on itself. - After that, I made the edge between lighted/shadowed sides more smooth so it also doesn't draw much attention. - It's okay to have some chaos in the picture. Chaotic pixels to some extent make the texture more "realistic". The final stage is to check if the pyramid fits to all of the terrains. Currently it is questionable only on lava, but I don't know a solution better than the current one. Only some possible fixes of the contour of the right (sunny) edge to make it more straight/structured can improve the situation, but I'm too lazy for that today. ________________________ | |

| Orzie, how about second version of the pyramid, exclusively for lava? So that I'll fit as best as possible without messing with it on other terrains | |

| It's not universal and it'll require programming tweaks in this case which is not convenient. It will be better not to provide additional heavyweight to the programmer currently. ________________________ | |
