| This thread is reserved for the discussion of dwelling development.ATTENTION H3SW TEAM (and Uhm in specific)! Please feel free to update this post (you do have the rights) if you finished the dwelling and it's generally approved. If you update the top post, please also leave a message in this thread regarding this operation. YELLOW dwellings are WIP/draft. GREEN dwellings are considered well done (they still might need some fixes). Please note the following moments. The dwelling must have 2 squares in its passability scheme. The rest part of the dwelling must be passable-through. It is very likely to have dwellings replicating their townscreen prototypes. It is very appreciated if we will have perspective different from what we see on the townscreens. No isometry if possible. Upgraded classic H2 dwellings where available. PALETTE and you don't have to make any flags. We will do them ourselves. It is necessary to make the dwelling as universal as possible. Remember that it can be placed on every terrain. - Knight - 6 of 7 done:

| Still I have to admit that I like the previous variant better. But the bright gamma of your variant might be useful (as well as dragon skulls). I think there can be some workarounds to have a combination of best elements. The previous variant also satisfies the 2-square rule, while the new one doesn't. Actually, we have forgotten to put Agar's new draft for the Graveyard (Zombie dwelling). Looking nice. The Heroes 2 beta variant is looking very rough anyway. Also, I disagree that the current variant of the Labyrinth is ultimate. I enjoy the twisted perspective of Uhm's variant. I think we can combine the advantages of both somehow. ________________________ | |

| Please note that we must have 2-squared dwellings only. We already have 1-squared dwelling for Orcs Other than that, awesome work! I would only suggest to remove the green "fence" over the Hydra dwelling. It would be better to make it looking more like a lake with trees and fog all over. It's better to have it more universal so it could look acceptably good on grass, dirt, etc. ________________________ | |

| Probably there could be a little amount of marsh. Mind you that swamplands exist all over the world - also in snowy tundra and around periodic lakes on deserts. And who knows, maybe hydras can't reproduce without optimal moisture | |

| The trouble is that you can't put the green swamp over Wasteland and Lava terrains. If it's a lake with water, it could be a little more suitable. ________________________ | |

| Well, still we should keep them as most universal as possible. H3 is also not perfect, and the graphics in H3 is the thing which is really questionable sometimes Actually, I already have a draft for the crazy Antoine smile. If not the release coming soon, I would adjust the forum design. ________________________ | |

| That can serve as a nice draft, but we will need a more complex perspective Or maybe not. But still, it needs a little treatment with color transitions and overall brightness. ________________________ | |

| It's perspective should be more "from above", now it is too much differing from the rest of the dwellings. | |

| I Tried. It seemed to me that the house has a fairly complex structure, and in such cases it is better to do a side view. And the house that is already there, something he does not seem to me a little in the style of the game. Maybe too become familiar in HotA. Well, worth a try. Strange staircase at the mage tower turned out, to be honest) | |

| Feanor did some experiments there. Actually you are free to fix all that The Mage Tower is badly shopped from its townscreen prototype. We can actually have a tower+library object to fill 2 squares. As for the mansion, you are right about the complex architecture. I think we should choose from one of your variants to operate with. ________________________ | |

| Very cool! We definitely should test it in game. I am so glad Agar's concept was useful, it really goes well with the existing classic Goblin Hut. Yet, we will need the Goblin Hut to have a 2-squared duplicate too ________________________ | |
