| It looks good, but it works towards making the harpy look weaker to make it a level 2 creature which I am heavily against. I like the hair, leg posteur and wings though | |

| I liked how beefy the old harpy looked, but the new one is definitely prettier. I kinda like it, but also wish she was taller and stronger looking...
And also, why blonde? There is already the archer lady, why not something else? Dark raven hair or dirty brown might work even better I think.

| - THANK YOU (lots of img!):
Hi everyone. I feel a need to write this little post as a thank you for all of you folks. I've never before felt such.. appreciated? Constructive feedback you give me helps a lot, even if sometimes I dont think the changes would be for better. If I can be honest, I didn't really knew if I was going to get back from my holidays, I mean back there, back to creating, improving, helping with this mod. Can you believe it was half a year from now?? Uhm - You helped me with starting this whole thing, guided me, helped. It was your idea to create my own thread, well, at least to show others my work :p Little but revelant tips with drawing in homm2 style, animating my bandit.. Thank you, my little Polish mentor.. Big thank you for you. Orzie - Always there to help. Like a little boss or should I say a leader? It may fit more, because you're working with us, with me, you know what to do and if you dont have time to do it yourself then you'll help in any other way, like a very detailed feedback. Demanding but yet rewarding. Sir Albe - One of my best source of feedback. You see things that are in need of my attention, better than anyone else. robizeratul, buffkaz, Kivo, BoseDrache - I thank you too personaly, mainly for feedback, but also for the nice words. It is the one thing that keeps me working on these, satisfaction. NikitaTheTanner - I hope to see you more often, you seem like a guy that have a couple of very good ideas in his head! Together we brought to life things like a tribal hut that made it into the beta.. ..new upgrade for the rogue that is now animated.. ..almost perfect new unit for the knight that fits oh so well.. And a few that are being worked on.. ..like the medusa.. ..acolyte.. ..harpy.. ..scorpion.. ..or a genie.. ..treeant.. Or some other that are not revelant for homm2 at all, just like my sketch of the asylum demon from dark souls.. Thank you all, for your words. It is so heartwarming to see my work being used, reworked by other people just like it was with crossbowman or the harpy.. I love you <3 And to end my post, I would like to ask you what you want me to take care of next. 1. Mechanic gnome for wizard 2. Beholder for warlock 3. Dwellings like a cementery, black tower 4. Upgrade for harpy 5. Another, more changed in shape medusa 6. Recolored new version of scorpion that will enter the beta

| Like I told you before, the ultimate option is the dwellings, because there is zero chance that the graphics will be rejected in the end of the day and maximum opportunity to receive positive feedback.
A draft of the new Gnome or further adjustments of the Scorpion won't hurt. Yet, I plan to conduct a little experiment with the current Scorpion.
Beholder and Medusa don't require specific improvements. The latter is a classic H2 creature.
There is a lot of work with portraits, but first I should clean up that section.
Thank you for being with us. I wish I had the same amount of free time like it was in 2013 - the whole process would go faster. These forums needed some new blood. ________________________

| A new wing concept draft from DF2 forums. Now looks better and can be used as a starting version. However, using a shortened body for the Harpy definitely leads to the decrease in level, which we must prevent at all costs. So that the original Ragoon's body suits better. ________________________ | |

| Please note however that the first version of your wings was close to perfection in terms of geometry Only the texture was wrong since it was taken from the Griffin. Axolotl's variant was based on H3 Angel and these wings are too small in size. ________________________ | |

| A small improvement of the Harpy by Docent Picolan. Already looks fitting enough. I'm very curious of what Ragoon comes up with. ________________________ | |

| Harpy looks very fitting for line-up and also her 4th level. Still I think she should eat some cake to gain some pounds | |

| The wings are awesome and look menacing enough for level 4! But the body is so tiny and scrawny still, she is smaller than a goblin... She doesn't have to be buff as the old one, but maybe slightly taller at least. | |

| imho, This harpy's body angle... Check the body incline of any other winged creature ; because of the weight of the wings, the body should be a little leaning. (I hope my dictionary told me right words for incline and leaning. ) ________________________ ~Lands of Enroth~

(I hope my dictionary told me right words for incline and leaning. ) I think this is not because the weight of the wings. Well, as far as I'm aware, birds have very light bones and are in general very light to be able to fly. The second reason is because birds are succesors of late dinosaurs and for example the t-rex was tilted not because of wings, but rather because of the anatomy which couldn't change very much since then. Yes, feathers, wings, size etc, but not much of a bone geometry. And returning to my point, harpy is mainly human with about 30% of a bird, so it make sense for me that she would be more upright than the other winged creatures BTW If you look at MY project, not edited by others she in fact is a LITTLE tilted

| The harpy is looking awesome, thank you. My only suggestions would be to clean up the wing and hip texture a little (I can do that myself), lighten up the skin (optionally) and make the face a little more seductive (optionally optionally). In general I can take that job on Tuesday if you would like to try something else. Concerning the Pen (Boar dwelling), I'm generally for variant 2. Heroes 2 dwellings have a little chaos in lighting angles, but in general the sun comes from the left side. The entrance is likely to be on the right square. Concerning the trees - it's better to keep the dwellings universal where it is possible, because it's harder for a dwelling to fit on a lava terrain. Yet, this problem is inavoidable in some cases because H2 terrains are brighter and some H2 dwelling concepts are intended to be part of the terrain, like the Halfling house. ________________________ | |

| Thanks a lot, I'll take it from now. Currently Sir Albe and I are preparing the long-time anticipated creature threads, where you will be able to see the current state of each creature, both in battle and adventure forms. By the way, your skills in designing (and probably animating, it's much simpler for small versions) the creature adventure forms will be highly appreciated, too. ________________________ | |

| I am sending the first bunch of graphics to Sir Albe so can start with the classic factions thread. Concerning the Harpy, the opinions differ and I will try to present my iteration of the concept as soon as possible (but I've got a show on Saturday and very little time to prepare, so I don't know the exact time when I will post it). ________________________ | |
