@ihhubAfter fheroes2 1.0, do you plan to add the ability to mod the game?
I would love to make some adjustments to the original game, change spell values, the growth of creatures, secondary skills, etc., that sort of thing.
And then add new secondary skills, new artifacts, new spells for artifacts (works like spell scrolls), etc.
All these changes would be optional with the possibility for players to choose which ones they want to apply, as is already possible in fheroes2.
All this in a simple way for non-programmers:
Add graphics files, sound files, etc. in a specific folder.
Add an .xml or other text file.
So all the necessary files.
And there you go...
The program takes care of integrating the additions.
I already have a lot of ideas about this.
You can take a look at them if you are interested in these threads (titles start with [Unknown Mod]) in
this forum.
Subsequently, I will transfer these ideas, some with some improvements and modifications, to the fheroes2 forum.
Also, is there a plan to externalize some data?
With the previous fheroes2 project, it was already possible to modify some values in .xml files.
