Heroes 3 SW framerate "mod"

Hello!

As probably some of us remember, Heroes 2 originally played in much higher framerate than Heroes 3. In Heroes 3 its like 15fps on world map or so.

As I am fps-nerd, I've created a simple mod that basically doubles gamespeed, making animations very smooth and nice to look at. The plugin is compatabile with ERA and works flawlessly with H3SW.

Note: I am not the origianl author of speedhack! I've only finetuned source code to be compiled with FreePascal instead of Delphi!

All you have to do is to download this file:

And put it in Heroes 3 directory:

And game will now have double speed, smoothing animations and such. You will probably have to decrease combat/hero movement speed in options to compensate. I am playing using "medium" speed on combat and slowest hero speed in adventure map and it works fine for my taste.

If you want to recompile it, load project with Lazarus (FreePascal) and simply hit F9.
