[Utility] GrayFace's HoMM2 Utilities

A must-have for every modder: the tools from GrayFace aka sergroj allow to pack/unpack Heroes 1 and Heroes 2 data files.

AGG (HoMM2 general data files)
ICN (HoMM2 sprites)
TIL (HoMM2 tileset data files)
 ICN and TIL files are stored in the AGG.

I found many sprite of the game here :

I asked the main contributor, and he said that he took the sprites from the game files.

(so, there are "perfect"... Not like my avatar-ghost that is made with screenshots... There is still dark blue in some parts hahaha)


And... I found that website :

I am not sure about what is it for, I am not really a (de)programmer.

GrayFace is a very famous modder and creator of many tools for Heroes 2 and Heroes 3 modding. He is also the current H3 WoG team leader.
I already featured his work in the Modding section of the Forums of Enroth.

so... both ICN and TIL are in the AGG file or ... not?
because... as a person who doesn't know computer-programming will download only the ICN extractor and... will aboard at this point. ^^

By the way, I will merge the 2 topics... It's clealry "same"... (even if for me, images things aren't really modding related.. :p)

(this topic name isn't cleary for normal people... I would have never open it for "images"

AGG is a general Heroes 2 data file. ICN and TIL are graphic files which are stored in the AGG.
