Paul Romero original and early music themes

Paul Anthony Romero recently uploaded a massive amount of themes from HoMM and MM games to his soundcloud account. The themes originates from all the HoMM games and Might and Magic IX. Some tracks are early or alternate versions of known themes. For instance the H2 sea theme can be found without the background water which for me is one of the best tunes in the whole series. Also classic themes as the H3 Stronghold theme, H3 Rampart theme, H2 PoL Knight theme, H1 Barbarian theme and H2 Sorceress theme can be found. Probably the quality of these themes are better than the ones from the games.

Another interesting track is what appears to be an early/alternate version of the H2 Grass theme.

Paul Romero and the homm/m&m franchise music has been inspiring to me, for too many years to count, I simply love it and words can't really express the magnitude of that love.

Was wondering though, any easy way to download all these together? Anyone uploaded all that stuff anywhere yet?

I looked into it and I am afraid it is not possible to download the tracks, since Paul didn't enable the download option.

Still it's possible to record the tracks using the sound card while they are played. If no one manages to do it, I'll spend some time on getting that Sea Theme and probably the Grass Theme too

UPD. We actually have a slightly different version of Water Theme, with the sound of tidal bore at the background. It was planned for H3SW v0.8.

It depends on your attitude toward intelectual property ;P. If track on Soundcloud doesn't have download button, it means that author didn't want to share with it (lol, so why did he put these tracks on soundcloud, from where everybody can simply record them, huh?). If you feel like it's not a very big deal, you can simply paste link to the Romero's account and download all the tracks you wish:

It depends on personal financial condition too. Mecenat is good tradition. You can give 1, 10, 100, 100000 g for your greatest artist. As you can and like. :-)

I shouldn't be that rude. Sir Romero put many of his compositions free for download a few years ago. I guess that copyrights forced him to remove download options (or maybe he just forgot to add it ). If I could buy his work standalone, I would do this immediately. Sadly, the only place we can find his rare art is Internet. Though I hope that his fertileness will be somehow preserved for succeeding generations

Completely agrees with Uhm. Paul unfortunately doesn't have a site or shop where we can buy his music. I guess his audience is too small or he just don't want us to pay for it. Fortunately for us he seems to be happy sharing his music in this terrific quality with us. Paul wouldn't have uploaded all his music to sound cloud if he didn't want us to enjoy it As far as I know Paul is very happy about every joy he can bring to people loving his music. That is why Paul took the trip from California to Torún in Poland to play a Heroes of Might and Magic concert which Uhm and I were lucky to attend

Btw. I downloaded the alternate/early HoMM II Grass and Ocean themes. I adore them very much Feel free to download them. They are only in 128 kbps though.

I've no idea, if Mr Romero still receive royalty payment for Heroes tracks But I think that he enjoy composing music as much as we adore listening to it, so every  time you listen to his music, you surely suports him

Michał Bylina (who you may know from his musical collaboration with Paul Romero as seen here) had his wedding this weekend. Big congratulations from here!! As Michał is a great fan of Paul's music and a musician himself, he had planned the wedding music to be from the HoMM series. That means we got to hear HoMM music played on a church organ, which I thinks sounds amazing!!
