I'll start with my clumsy pixel art (3 colors, 200x100). That was my first experience in an extremely limited palette. I am too lazy to fix the lame parts of it.


I know some of you are very creative, so please don't disappoint me.

I am not sure they are "creative", but I got a couple of my profile pictures with some H3:TSW game play going on:

Well, I wouldn't call that a creative because most of the presented graphics don't belong to you. But who knows, maybe in future you will be able to present something new

I see why you needed those percentages. It is nice to know what the chances for a specific spell are

I'm also working on an RPG map of Jadame for HotA:

Amazing! I must note that the first 3D art (with the house) is looking very close to classic Heroes 2 3D artworks. Did you actually use 2D treatment after the rendering?

Nope. The sky and the flames are 2D images that I added to the rendered picture, but apart from that the picture is exactly how it was when it finished rendering in Blender.

Wow, Doc, looks great! You should definitely show it to the team responsible for additional upgrades, they're lacking good dwellings.

I just had the urge to try this. Inspiration: Atari, Amiga (Flashback).

When I was younger, I used to play with my brother Master Blaster on my father's Amiga Today, when with each year game studios are releasing less and less good games, I promise myself to make virtual travel in the past one day and play all the best classics in the gaming history, starting from the original Tetris Flashback is also on this list

Who would prefigure, that within 20 years 2D bitmaps will be replaced with 3D models, with every hair on his head controlled separately?

I am trying hard to bring back the feel. As i began to work with them, i just got puzzled how much small but important thing they did with only the colors to make their characters rememberable on so freakin' few pixels.
