| I'm a fan of the project, and decided to try to run the game even tho I'm on a Mac, so I installed HoMM3 GoG edition (and the patch) through Wine, and H3SW, and it ran perfectly. However after a few turns I got this crash: | |

| Unfortunately, this is not informative at all. What you need to do is to describe the possible turn of events which lead to the crash, send us a savegame, and a crash log (WOGCRASHLOG.TXT or HD_CRASH_LOG.TXT if they are updated right after the crash). These files can be found in the root game directory.
Also, tell me if the crash occurs again after reloading Autosave, or not. ________________________

| Sorry, I looked for log files and couldn't find any. I was hoping the displayed message would make sense. I've now searched my entire computer and there is no WOGCRASHLOG file.
I have reloaded the save, and playing a few more turns, there were no further crashes. I'll try to finish the game when I have time.

| When I tried to go to the castle I got this crash. Where should I send crashlog file? | |

| No need to do that. This bug has its own topic here. Just look around the bug reports subforum.
Probably, we already fixed it for the next update. Still testing.
Please, look for open threads with your specific problem next time. If you are unsure, you can always create a new topic. ________________________

| Glad to see the new update! I have one thing to say: The installation deleted my older 0.8 folder and lost everything there. I think this shouldn't happen, or at least keep some folders unchanged like maps or other files people might have there. For me this wasn't an issues since (luckily) I had a backup for the map I am making. However I had another folder with some sorted maps I tried/still have to try. And those where lost.
Or maybe this only happened to me?

But it cannot happen without your input. Only if you deleted the Mods folder before installation it can actually be that way. The H3SW installer does not delete anything. Please, use other threads for your unrelated questions. ________________________
