Ironfist 1.3.0

Hi everyone,
I was playing quickly with the version 0.8 (something like that) that I found on homm2.com
Now I have downloaded the 1.3 version BUT it doesn't work. Here is the thing:

—I have the GOG version (HoMM2 gold version)
—I run my old PC on windows XP
—Ironfist is installed in the same directory than HoMM2.
—When I launch the game it says : ironfist.exe is not a valid win32 application…
—It was working with the other version of ironfist,

so if someone can help me with that… thank a lot!

Dont work in winxp32. Only very old version from 2013 Ironfist you can run.

Hello,

I'm one of the developers for Project Ironfist and this post was brought to my attention recently. Before getting any deeper I'm going to run you through some of the basic troubleshooting steps when this kind of error is usually encountered, those the results of what to do may vary since you're running an older OS.

-Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling IRF?
-Rebooting your computer?
-Running as administrator?

If you have not tried all of these then please do and then report back to me. If these issues continue past this please do not hesitate to let me know, and we can setup a trouble shoot skype call and I can see what I can't do to get your game up and running!

Thank you for your answer! I've tried to reinstall the game, to reboot, and I'm running as an administrator but it doesn't work for me.
