Need help, new to homm2

Hey , im kinda new too the whole custom campaign/map/mod scene of heroes 2, im wondering how do i install a custom campaign for heroes 2?

Hello!

There is no other way to launch a user-created campaign for Heroes 2 than simply play each scenario one after another as singleplayer scenarios. The campaigns are simply a selection of singleplayer scenarios which should be copied to the Maps folder of the game.
Some campaigns may have plot arranged in that way so the sequence of scenarios can be freely varied by a player.
Some campaigns may have additional text files included in the archive so that you can understand the plot more.

Thanks man, damm these custom campaigns are hard when u play on recommended difficulty, i feel really noobish even though ive beat all normal campaigns these are brutal are there any "tips" on strategy here on the forums ? do u know ?

The fact is, you really don't have to use the recommended difficulty if the scenarios concern more or less classic gameplay with town-building
Sometimes the authors may mean the overall campaign difficulty rather than the "obligatory" one.

Strategies depend on scenarios. If we speak about Timothy Duncan's campaigns, sometimes they intend fast exploration so you should leave the comfort zone as soon as possible (especially this concerns the Last Hope campaign). The enemies will grow indestructible too quickly otherwise.
