[EN, RU][Offline] HoMM2 Continental Championship 2016 (Чемпионат Континентов 2016)

Every continent* can feature its own team on the Continental Championship. Continents can be allied. HeroesPortal members belonging to a neutral race** can join any continent or create their own team.

Team size: 3 players for each team, if there is enough players. The team lineup is decided by the team leader. The team leader is chosen by the HeroesPortal members in the tournament thread on HeroesPortal.net.***

The Tournament Master creates 5 starting savegames which are intended to be played by all members of the teams. Each team member is allowed to send only 2 final savegames which must be chosen wisely to obtain the best results in the team score.

Victory condition: the least number of days for each map.

The members of the victorious team are awarded with HeroesPortal Feuds****. All tournament participants who took 1st place with their savegames also receive Feuds. If both 2 savegames from the same HeroesPortal.net member are victorious, that member is awarded with only 1 Feud. Arroba***** prizes for 3 victorious teams are 5000, 3000 and 2000; also prizes for victorious individuals for each savegame are 1000, 700 and 500.

The victory of a team is defined by the number of points from each played savegame. The dependance of the savegame results placement (in the overall table) and the number of points is shown in the table below:

Lack of sent savegame leads to 0 points.

If the same place is shared by a group of participants, the points are assigned according to the following scheme: e.g. players A, B and C share the places from 3 to 5 - all of them receive points equal to place 3. The next participant receives points equal to place 4.

After that, the points of each team's participants are summarized and the final championship results table is formed. If some of the teams share the same number of points, the victory is assigned to a team which has the most number of individual 1st, then - 2nd and 3rd placements.



* - Upon registration, the users are offered to choose their continent regarding their specific chosen creature: Paladin belongs to Knight continent, Phoenix belongs to Sorceress, etc. Changing the continent may cost a little fee in the internal HeroesPortal currency (see below). Sometimes the team lineups are reassigned according to the player skills and number of players.
