Project Ironfist Crashes at Launch :(

Hey there, really excited about your project! However both Ironfist and Ironfist map editor crash as I try to launch them.

I have Heroes 2 Gold edition from GOG.com and running windows 8.1

No error message, it seems to start, then I can see the "file" option in the left corner, but then it just crashes via windows popup "the program has stopped working"

I have the latest version of Ironfist installed, the one from your downloads page.

And yes, I believe it is installed into correct folder. ironfist.exe is at least in the same folder as heroes2.exe

Any fix ideas?

I think you can try this version of HoMM2. It was documented to run on Win8.1 and even on Win10.
