[1.0.4] "Unfortunatelly app fHeroes2 has been stopped" on Android 5.1.1

Today I've finally updated fHeroes on my tablet to the latest version, but then I was unable to run it and I was getting "App fheroes2 has been stopped" message with no other details.

I've also tried to re-install it from scratch but with the same result.

The same error appears when I run toolset app and select resources zip file to install (extract).

Got the same results when installing via Google Play store and directly from APK downloaded from github release.

Device spec: Kiano Slimtab 10" running Android 5.1.1

I had no issues running previous releases (1.0.x) on that device.

Hi. Sorry for inconvenience, old versions Android support accidentally failed.

The team has just fixed it. Try to install the latest commit version from here:

Hmm, with the build you provided (APK file with date 2023-05-15 13:19:24) I'm still getting the same issue.

UPDATE: I'm able to run the game using the debug build, as mentioned in this PR https://github.com/ihhub/fheroes2/issues/7187

We really appreciate your feedback. Please, keep an eye on those issues at github, as development team will probably need your feedback, once the solution would be found for this problem.

Issue appears to be solved (check this thread: https://github.com/ihhub/fheroes2/issues/7187 ) , latest snapshot build works correctly and smooth on my device!
