To make the Shrines "better strategic locations" on the map, I would like to make they restore magic points when visited.

Shrine of the First Circle, can restore up to 10 spell points, once per week and per hero.

Shrine of the Second Circle, can restore up to 20 spell points, once per week and per hero.

Shrine of the Third Circle, can restore up to 30 spell points, once per week and per hero.

Examples:

If the hero has 20/40 spell points and he goes to a Shrine of the First Circle, 10 spell points are restored, and he has now 30/40 spell points.

If the hero has 20/40 spell points and he goes to a Shrine of the Third Circle, 20 spell points are restored (not 30 spell points), and he has now 40/40 spell points.

Will it be possible to mod this later?

The upcoming version of Ironfist has a "HERO_MOVE" trigger. I think it will be possible with that.

A script would have a map variable tracking whether a hero has visited a given shrine, reset every week. When the hero visits the square containing the shrine, he is given the spellpoints.

May we steal this idea? I'm going to share this with one of our mapmakers for potential inclusion into an upcoming map. Smile

It would be nice to have infos if the selected hero has already visited the shrine for the current week when doing a right click on the shrine, ...and perhaps even more?
