recently I discovered this impressive project, but unfortunately mercurial repository mentioned in wiki is not longer available. Where I can get the code to play with? Thank you.

The Game Creation Society moved to a new server and took down its source code hosting service. I've been working on moving the code to Github, but, unfortunately, their Mercurial importer crashes when importing the Ironfist codebase. In the meantime, the source code is available on Bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/projectironfist/project-ironfist

I managed to convert hg repository to git using hg-fast-export. Here's post explaining how to use it. Hope it helps and thanks again.

Glad it worked for you. I've already tried that, and, unfortunately, while I managed to convert it locally, it failed to push to Github. Thus, ironfist's source is still stuck in its temporary home.

After some more wrangling, I finally got the git import working. We have a new home -- https://github.com/jkoppel/project-ironfist ! Thanks for the motivation.
