Definitely. With your giant help we are finally able to present nice interfaces for the new release (I especially love the adventure map interface - don't worry about the buttons for quests and rest/awake, I'll deal with them), and with feanor's plugins for fonts, flags and other stuff we are amazingly close to the quality of the original game. It's gonna be truly amazing.

By "the original game" do you mean Heroes 2 or Heroes 3?

Heroes 2 in 95% of cases. Still, we discuss graphics, and all our graphics are H2-styled.

Do you have an idea yet on when the new H3SW beta is going to be released?

Officially we announce 2015, and unofficially I can say that it's gonna be November-December. We have good chances to deal with the most of the targets in the to-do list.

So the new H3SW beta is about to be released in this year? Music to my ears. Maybe because not much time left behind in 2015, we have exactly 3 months. I swear I will upload a video about the new beta and my impressions.

Yeah. Still we need to update many assets here, not even mentioning the half-transparent shadows (which are absent in H3 and I don't know if feanor will find motivation and time to implement them).

I also think that the H2 flags need a little fixing. I always get yellow flags instead of the ones of my color.

That's because you didn't put the respective ERA plugin in the EraPlugins folder of your mod.

Yes, you spoiled me man! However worth it at least I see how the entire global map and such sweets look like from now on. The rest are H2-ish now not just a few sort of elements like in the previous old beta. Improved very nicely.

I did not recognize your post Orzie, I noticed Sir Albe's post first.

It sure takes time to resize the classic H2 portraits. For instance Jezebel, which I at least is about finished with.

Did you actually put it near other portraits? It appears that the face is too small.

It is cut the same way as the other portraits I have converted. The height is intact, but the sides are cut. It looks just fine next to the other portraits imo, so I might find those for you to see.

I see what you mean. I just didn't realize that the face was that much smaller. If I had cut it in the height too the width would be even smaller, but I guess that would look better... It is just weird, because the face should look equally small in H2 along the portraits you found, so it seems to be made that way.

That;s because Jezebel is a HoMM2 portrait, while the rest come from H1 where standards were more strict.

I still would recommend to try to raise Jezebel's face to be more or less on the same level as the others.

I will try to see what I can do. Maybe somebody a bit more skilled than me should try if I don't succeed.

Besides, a new user recently made these nice drafts for Magic skills. Very impressive speed. I am currently polishing them.

I saw those on the DF2 forum. They look rather good I am just sad I wasted my time on the air magic skills.
