Hello Heroes, I am the new Admin, our previous Administrator had disappeared ...
I will change a little the looking of the forum and then, it'll be your turn to play !

I changed the name of the forum (it was wrong before: "Forum Francophone Heroes2"), and ... How do you feel the new name?
~Heroes2~ Forum of Might and Magic II !
(this name will be used for bookmarks if someone bookmark the main page of this forum).

If you notice any forum's design wrong things, please contact me with the informations I need to find it back what I must do to fix it.
Same, if you notice any French language while you are using non-French board.

Changed ranks (lvl up) based on numbers of posts!

Don't worry about the people, I have some tricks to attract many users to come here after we will finish the basic forum design.

Added smiley in "H2 style", from smile to rolleyes (+king).
Also some things for languages and maps post's customization.

New flaged-heroes recently, such as , and more H2-style buttons.
The name of this forum is now ~ Forums of Enroth ~.

Oh yeah man, looks awesome! It's pity that we can't animate them. In H2 there was a cycling color feature which allowed to animate assets without storing many frames, used for the Phoenix, Genie's tail, Mage's staff orb, Fire Elemental and some other assets.

animated png powa. I saw someone's phenix in APNG on a russian forum that used exactly same way.
We must find him back and ask what program he used (and how he used).

Background of forums went a little more bright, I heard that some people felt it was too dark.

Removed the rest of the French text in profile information.
Also, reuploaded the proper avatars for guest users and re-set default avatars.

Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that you are likely to use square-shaped avatars. Otherwise they will be misshapen in the minimized version.

That's nice that you found out to remove the French words of the profile!!

By the way, I would advise you to add transparent space on the sides of your avatar: make it square
It will make the minimized version of your avatar look good on the forum without disproportion.

Added the Quality Points system as asked by Arys-Pole and Dr Slash. You can notice + and - on the right upper angle of the message window. Unfortunately this forum engine doesn't allow to show who exactly rated this or that post, but that is already something.

I'm getting lost with all theses sub-forums... :scratch:
FRPG Board is for RP...
Common board is for Real life.
But the, the Tavern is for ...? :p hmm... what else there is?

I feel like the "common board" and "The Tavern" is same.
imo, the "Floody topic" must be in "The Tavern".


In my opinion "Administration Board" should contain the "Forums" name inside (Forums Admin board? Forums of Enroth Admin board?)

Common Board is for real life chat, while the Tavern root is for HoMM and MM-related talk. I think that adding Enroth-related talk to a real life talk is okay, but adding real-life to Enroth is not that good.

Moved the Administration Board to the top. Also created a new HoMM2-dedicated section for general gameplay discussion and all that.
We desperately need a little more concern from the users.

Besides, seems that the Fan Fiction board in the Russian Tavern is doing fine - I already enjoyed some works a lot.
I would like to find such creative people for the English Tavern too.

I let the Forums of Enroth into your hands Orzie (and Darmani^^).

Activated the Latest Topics, Polls and Most Viewed Topics widgets. These are the only ones useful on this engine.

Still have to update the web design for them - so we will have to wait for maestro GodRage.

We can make more Latest Topics visible, but 5 seems okay for now. The window size and position (left or right screen side) is customizable.



UPD. Activated the Gallery in a testing mode. What I want to make is a gallery for Heroes 2 fan art, possibly with rating system. Currently investigating the capabilities of the forum.

A new logo prototype by DrSlash is implemented. Looking much more convincing.
