Here you can propose new artifacts related to the cyborg fraction.

My proposition: Golden Key Card (inspired by MM3 item).
Description: Golden Key Card allows you to open gates without knowing the passwords.

Thanks. It's only a concept graphic but I will try to improve it after I finish the hero's map graphic. Surely the shadow will be changed and the bird will be removed.

how come you started doing this things? what plans do you have for the future?

Really nice seeing new stuff! From what I remember, there was a Cyrborg website somewhere and some content was already made, can't find it though. Are you the only one making these or is there a team?

Note that your shadow is too much in contrast with the background. You can look to the right, where you have the Traveler's Boots of Mobility. There you can see that the shadow from them is softer, and has softer edges. It's perfectly fine to orient on already existing artifacts (and even copy some colors) in the process of creating new ones. Same goes for the lighting angle.

Also note that frontal perspective is unlikely, because the item loses volume no matter what you would do with the lighting.

P.S. Of course I would oppose the addition of such an imbalanced and map-breaking artifact (because, at least, it's impossible to control when it's generated in H2), but I'm happy to see the guys drawing.

Pretty sure you are talking about the Project Ironfist website. Like I said, the guys went a little different direction than I would with the creatures, but at least the work goes on.

PostSubject: Forgotten blasters versus Cyborg faction/Затерянные бластеры против фракции Киборга   2018-01-19, 06:44

ENG: As far as we know, in addition to "Armageddon Blade" was planned Forge. This faction was canceled due to complaints from fans who do not know about the game "Might and Magic" Crying or Very sad . According to the story, in order to defeat the Forge, the Heroes had to find the Armageddon blade - the weapon of the ancients.

In Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Project Ironfist also has a more powerful faction - Cyborg. What weapons need to be defeated their? I propose to add a local analog in the form of lost blasters, they can equalize the forces in this war, if it is planned in story of the campaigns Cool . Although, according to the name more would come artifact "Iron Fist" , which was planned yet in HoMM 3 and was introduced into HotA. I wish good luck to this very excellent project!

RUS: Насколько нам известно, в дополнении "Клинок Армагеддона" планировался Фордж. Эту фракцию отменили из-за жалоб фанатов, не знающих об игре "Меч и Магия" Crying or Very sad . По сюжету, чтобы одолеть Фордж, Герои должны были найти Клинок Армагеддона - оружие древних.

В Героях Меча и Магии 2 Проект Айронфист также есть более мощная фракция - "Киборг". Каким оружием должны будут победить её? Я предлагаю добавить местный аналог в виде затерянных бластеров, именно ими можно уравнять силы в этой войне, если она планируется в сюжете кампаний Cool . Хотя, в соответствии с названием больше бы подошёл артефакт "Железный Кулак", который планировался ещё в HoMM 3 и был введён в HotA. Желаю удачи этому столь грандиозному проекту!

Have you ever played Total Annihilation: Kingdoms?
The nation of Creon used robotic walkers, and steam engines, while their enemies could use cannons which designs they got, or stole from them (Except Zhon. The Beasts of Zhon never applied them.).
Ooooor.
There was a hungarian fantasy novel series in the early 90's set in the world of Cherubion (A Neo-Barbaric/High Fantastical Earth).
The setting is basicaly the same as with TA:K...there are three immortal apprentices of a High Mage of the Old World, whom fight over the legacy of him, to take his place.
One is in lead of the human race and he is bathsit crazy, the next one rules over magical and demonic beasts, while the last one is actualy only a brain, a personality in the body of a small monkey which sits on the shoulder of a cyborg that looks like a 1960 US.Marines Sarge. Very Happy He of course leads a community of quite ragged cyborgs with some rigged army tech.

My point is, in such settings it's not always REALY neccessary to have something technologicaly similar that balances shit, for fucking dragons can swipe over you all the same, as an old prophecy of a magical blade could fucking kick over any logical argument with it's abilities. (Armageddon's Blade and Sword of Frost khmm) Very Happy Cherubion as well had such a plot device Mary Swuerd...until it turned out the whole prophecy was the fabrication of bathshit crazy mageguy, and the sword was actually useless. Yeap. It was worth the effort protagonist guy. Encore, encore.
Butt, in the case of M&M...
Plotwise it's full of holes anyway. Mah. Go ahead. Good idea. Get some of my hot lightbeam troglodite!

Just couple minutes of work. I tried to check how the blaster from MM7 would look in H2. I changed the color to gold. It's not pixelart and there is no background or shadow, but if someone works on it, it may look good.

Blaster as an artifact was a long-time discussed idea in HoMM modding. Although graphic-wise it was pretty easy to implement (using MM6 or MM7 blasters for H3), it is still a big design problem what to do with its effects, and for what reason the blaster is really needed.
