GetResourceGeneratorNumber(resource, player)

Returns the number of resource generators of the specified resource belonging to the specified player.

GetLighthouseNumber(player)

Returns the number of Lighthouses belonging to the specified player.

GetGlobalGoldGeneratedPerDay(player)

Returns the quantity of Gold generated per day for the specified player.

AddGlobalGoldGeneratedPerDay(player, quantity, duration)

Adds the specified quantity of Gold per day for the specified player for the specified duration.

RemoveGlobalGoldGeneratedPerDay(player, quantity, duration)

Removes the specified quantity of Gold per day for the specified player for the specified duration.

GetGoldGeneratedPerDay(town)

Returns the quantity of Gold generated per day by the specified town.

AddGoldGeneratedPerDay(town, quantity, duration)

Hello,

I can see how some of these would be useful, such as the use of the gold-related functions, but I feel that the behavior desired from these functions may already be accomplished from a mix of the pre-existing scripting functions. Could you give an example where these may prove handy and perhaps elaborate on how the Get.....() functions may be used?

In the "Unknown Mod", some built buildings provide bonuses in gold per day.

Also, during the course of a scenario, the player can be offered a strategic goal or a quest. The reward for this goal (or penalty) is that all its towns receive bonuses (or malus) in gold per day. Or, if the player controls a certain number of mines of a certain type or controls a certain number of lighthouses, he receives bonuses.

During the creation of a script, it is also necessary to be able to verify if the writing of the code produces the expected effects. And it is often much simpler to have an instruction that makes it possible to ask directly what one wants rather than to have to monitor several values in a script that becomes, by this fact, too complicated.
