I suggest sticking to the second one. We can always make it taller and make some other improvements.

The size must be 2-squared though; perhaps we should reconsider its size and look over HotA's Black Tower.

They look nice for a conservatory, for example. Actually I would not be against it as a dwelling for the Dragon, but it needs a taller tower and lack of ruins (with maybe more fixed buildings instead)

Hmm, or maybe ruins are okay. I would only make the tower taller Smile

I don't know, where is dwelling of most fearsome creatures in all game, only name of which can cause panic already in bravest heart..and where is Black Tower.

Maybe add for 2nd tile somrthing epic to a black tower?

Feanor, I' am speechless  Shocked I'am afraid I'm not skilled enough to bring it to acceptable state, though I will try. It would be awesome to have your and Agar's tower as well; I will experiment with both them.

Very nice samples, YhyJasne! Be sure these will be very useful for the upcoming release. I am currently working on some other stuff, so everyone is free to suggest fixes.

Uhm, feel free to save them for the further improvements. I am unable to access Dropbox for the following couple of days because of the repairs at my house. Lack of Internet sucks.

Concerning the unicorns, I think they are not necessary because they may misorient players. It's better to have less "active visible characters" on regular dwellings. Yes, I remember about Heroes 1 and H1 townscreens, but still the atmosphere of H2 is a bit different story.

Nice draft. The Satyr will probably have a house looking more like a keg of wine, but still this example can be very well used for another adventure map object. Did you make it from scratch, or used some other art as a source?

I used h2 trees to create leaves. the rest is from scratch. copied also colours from a road from h2 sorceress castle

Great job! I think I like the second variant the most, but it might be subjective. I think I will recolour the trees a bit so they aren't that prominent in comparison to the door and other things. About the boar pen I'd rather that flag was located at the left-most edge of the fence. That would just look better imo.

Very nice updates, gentlemen. Unfortunately I'm still cut off from the Internet, so I don't have enough opportunities to visit the forum right now and participate in the discussions.

For me the best variant is the 3rd, it really blends into the Grass terrain forests. It only probably needs some more darker green colors so the leaves will be a little more distinguishable.

Nice arena, YhyJasne! The only thing to consider there is the wideness (it's a little bit too narrow right now, I mean the jousting space). Probably, we will be able to utilize Agar's variant too for some elements.

I think of remaking the arena a bit. Let me do this. I already said I don't like it, so I will try to make a better version. Will extend it a bit and remake the buildings.

First I thought about re-defining the functionality of the Druid Circle, but some members were against meddling with classics.
This option should serve as a nice solution.
