Is the lake a toad building ? If yes, you could add some flies or an insect on that flower, would look cool I think!

Very nice. The only critic I have is that it could look more swamp like and also I can be confused for a decorative object imo (it is very decorative Smile ) which it should not. Maybe you can combine my critic points and make it more swampy so that it looks more like a dwelling Smile

robizeratul, yes

My only idea is to add giant leaf above it like a roof or sth like that, dunno
Will probably have to wait before other ones are done

PS Got buildings from Orzie, not sure if there're all of them though (and some are outdated, like archer (shadow on the tent), boar (? I made one before))

We have multiple versions of some dwellings if you didn't know Smile I find that a good idea, but sometimes I think only one of the versions is good enough to stay in the mod.

At least, the most universal versions must be replacing the regular 2-squared dwellings which are to be generated on random maps on any terrain.

I like both versions of the pond. I agree with Albe, I also thought immediately that it could also pass for a decorative map item.

The big waterlily could function as the added extra for the upgrade. I'd love the idea that the non-upgraded buildings in the witch' castle are slimy and brownish at first, but that the upgrade adds something beautiful. This subtly adds to the classic theme of the witch who is old and ugly, but wants to be pretty and young and uses her magic to accomplish that.
The upgrade could be from regular frog/toad to poisonous -> which is also from green/yellow to red and blue for example.

I do think no upgrade was planned for the toad. In that case, this post makes no sense.

That is very interesting. I like such symbolism Smile About an upgrade: we once talked about having a upgrade that could spit poison as a ranged attack, but only have around 4 shots. I personally found that an interesting concept, but it is not of priority right now Smile

I've improved a bit Laboratory based on HotA model:

So, my pond can be used as basic dwelling and Ragoon's as upgraded.

Right?

Dwellings only produce basic creatures. Also we don't have the upgrade yet (if we ever get it).

Nicely done Uhm! Smile

Right?

We don't need "upgraded" versions for the adventure map, while pixel styled dwellings don't qualify as townscreen versions anyway.
In fact, a giant leaf of water lily with a flower on it without any water could be fitting more to every terrain. What do you think, guys?
(on the townscreen, of course, it would be placed on water)

Looks really awesome now! There is a point in the geometry/perspective of Agar's version though: it's more "looking towards us" which may be beneficial. But personally, I am completely okay even with the current one.

Anyway, I do not like the asymmetry of this version. And the foundation looks crumpled. Well, as you wish.

True that, your version is more correct in these terms. However, I am not okay with the bright gamma you choose, it definitely lacks the contrast and rich tones of Uhm's variant. I would probably vote for fixing Uhm's Laboratory to satisfy your geometry and correct foundation.

Looking really neat. But why don't you want to implement even more contrast between the shadows and lighted parts? Just look at the Death Knight dwelling you designed.
