| In the barbarian town gif image, I really prefer the "thinner" frame. ________________________ ~Lands of Enroth~

| I have devised an ultimate variant to fill the sky: The giant Rainbow similar to Sorceress' as a Grail structure for good and neutral castles, and Storm for evil castles.
I wouldn't vie for borders because it may ruin the classic townscreen feeling. A thin border won't save us in terms of filled space but changes the whole perception feeling of the screen. ________________________

| It is not a easy decision for me, since I see that the borders somehow makes the town fell less empty, I still prefer the complete town screen with no borders. It just feel more overwhelming and open without the borders. That it what I see from the gif. As Orzie says the small border doesn't change much of the view, but the overall feeling that the picture is "framed" removes the feeling of an open town for me. | |

| After a second thought I looked over the border and I find it not so disturbing to an eye. You see, it seems to really look more neat this way - not because we decrease the area specifically, but also because the limit of the sky which in my opinion doesn't look so bad. I was from a phone yesterday so I experienced some problems with images.
Uhm, could you please prepare a somewhat preview with the new Knight townscreen draft with the narrow border? It might seem that the wide border is drawing too much attention. ________________________

| That seems the best solution at least for v0.8. I should add this line to my Knight PSD. By the way, the Barbarian townscreen is all yours to make The bigger border is not very well conjuncting with the rest of the interface (bottom one). The narrow one seems to be blending into the existing interface fine. ...Yet, the bigger border is better for cutting the building sidewalls. The Town Hall looks the best with the bigger border because it hides its end. Perhaps I should move the town hall a little or reconsider its size. ________________________ | |

| That's nice! I notice that the archer upg is a crossbowman, and then the fancy design of the ranger will no longer be in the game? (outside the small icon for growing notification).. ________________________ ~Lands of Enroth~

| No, the Crossbowman is another creature, level 4 - the new creature for the Knight faction. The Ranger is doing just fine The Crossbowman has draft graphics, it is not considered final because it looks too much like Archer. ________________________ | |
